Elizabeth Gilbert and I share this sentiment…

First, a big thank you and appreciation for all your sweet support around the launch of the new website and The Expressed Woman event. If you missed my last newsletter about the big birth you can read it here.

As I came to sit down today to write to you, I wanted to write you something different.

I wanted to tell you that the last 14 days, since I launched the new website and The Expressed Woman event, have been all rainbows and unicorns.

That I didn’t have one moment of self doubt.

That is went off seamlessly without any shame gremlins coming to visit me.

But instead I decided to tell you the truth, because that’s how I roll.

And as I heard Elizabeth Gilbert share last week, (and I’m totally paraphrasing) “no matter how much you withhold the truth, it will inevitably come out. Since that’s where you’re gonna end up anyway, you might as well just start there.”

My truth is, over the past 14 days I have felt a combination of exhilaration and downright fear.

While a part of me was excited to shout from the rooftops about my new offerings, at the same time my sensitive soul has wanted to hide on a deserted island and not come out for a few days.

I have felt so exposed and had thoughts like “oh shit, did I share too much?”, and also have felt so clear in my body that what I’m sharing – my deepest truths and the powerful, magical work I serve women through – are catalysts for you to also share your truth.

And I have created multiple experiences that have invited me into having some honest and uncomfortable truthful conversations that took me out of my comfort zone in service of connection and expression.

I am letting you in on the behind the scenes, because I want you to know that NO process and NO one is perfect.

I believe that as leaders it’s so important to share the truth, and not always just the “shiny” truth, because being human is not a flatline experience of feeling one way all the time… there are cycles and rhythms to it all.

And so, I want to remind you that inside you right now is a unique expression and truth that is asking to be felt, seen, and expressed.

Your expression is an essential part of our future and the consciousness of our planet, and you aren’t meant to hide it.

You can’t do it wrong…

And the journey of life and expressing all of you is not about the exclusion of any parts of yourself, but rather a journey of how can you include it all (fear, joy, sadness, excitement, doubt, confidence).

Is there an area of your life where you’ve been hiding parts of your expression or truth?

What part of you wants to emerge right now?

How would it feel to share it?

Feel free to use those questions as journal prompts, and if you’d like, hit reply and share your responses.

I would love to hear what is resonating for you, and what is emerging; as always I read every email!

Expressing the truth with you,

P.s. Especially if you are resonating with the theme of telling the truth, I want to remind you that I’m hosting a brand new free event, designed with you and your expression in mind. It’s called The Expressed Woman and it’s made for women who are ready to let go of all that’s blocking their authentic expression. Click here to learn more and claim your free spot.
