“Melanie’s approach is nothing I’ve ever experienced before. She sees you, and I mean really sees you… and she makes you feel safe no matter what you’re exploring.”
—Sonia
Who do you think you are?
It’s a tough question.
Because ever since you were a girl, you’ve experienced moments when it’s not been okay to be you…
…not been safe to be you…
…not been convenient to express your full self in a world that ticks neat boxes.

Because ever since you were a girl, you’ve experienced moments when it’s not been okay to be you…
…not been safe to be you…
…not been convenient to express your full self in a world that ticks neat boxes.
Now you’re in a period of change.
And the most important thing you must carry to the other side…is yourself.
Not the neatly packaged persona you’ve been taught to show the world.
The unedited, raw, authentic one.
The one that scares you.
Change arrives for us all.
But change is rarely easy.
Things end. Chapters close. Your identity fragments.
And suddenly there’s space…
For What?
Maybe it’s a relationship ending.
Maybe you’re welcoming new life in some form, experiencing the loss of someone dear to you, or awakening to a sudden urgency about your purpose.
Or maybe things look just “fine” from the outside. But the inside holds the turbulence of something new that needs to emerge.
In this space, it’s normal to feel disorientation, tenderness, and even fear, as one thing ends and another waits to begin.
Nobody really talks about this space.
But this is the catalyst for a new way of being. One that’s unapologetic, honest, and deeply freeing.

Nobody really talks about this space.
But this is the catalyst for a new way of being. One that’s unapologetic, honest, and deeply freeing.
Rushing to get to the other side as quickly as possible.
Desperate to skip the discomfort of what’s ending. To force clarity before it’s ready to come.
Replacing what’s lost with more of the same — only to realize you’re still blending into the background, still not fully in your power.
You’ve self-medicated with positive thinking. Beaten yourself up for not being further along. Navigated your deepest spiritual and inner processes with intellectual precision. Kept your fears to yourself.
Yet, none of it worked. Or only like a temporary bandaid.
Every experience of shame, rejection, and suppression lives in your tissues, your nervous system, your cellular memory.
You cannot think your way out of something your body is still holding.
And nobody taught you that.
So of course you’re still here.
But what if there was a space where you could stop trying to fix this, and instead embody the expression of your own emergence?
What if there was someone who would take your hand — witnessing and supporting you as you step over this threshold?
So you could be with yourself long enough to find your own answers and take those forward with you?
That’s me. That’s what I do.
I hear you. I see you. I know you. I hold you.
And I’ve been waiting for you.
I’m not here to sell you a script about how your future will look.
Because here’s what I know.
The “perfect” outcome does not exist.
This will be yours, and yours alone.
In times of change, it’s so easy to be distracted by solutions that promise: “Do this and you’ll be okay.”
But guess what? You’re already okay. Even if you don’t feel it right now.
Most women I meet are scared of their own aliveness.
You’ve been told you’re too much, too sensitive.
You’ve experienced rejection, judgment, and even ridicule just for being you.
And you’ve absorbed all these experiences.
Every trigger reinforces your belief that it’s not safe to be fully yourself.
Now, the discomfort of staying trapped in a skin that no longer fits has become too much to bear.
Your anxiety, your heaviness, your mystery symptoms all point to the same thing.
You’re already in transition, whether you feel ready or not.
So what happens next?
This is where the door begins to swing open.
This where you get to decide:
“I feel scared — and I’m still choosing me.”
I cannot tell you what’s on the other side. I cannot tell you who you’re going to be.
But I do know you’ll be free.
The workshop you’re about to experience was made for this exact place you’re standing.
Everything you’ve lived through has brought you to this space.
A space where you can reclaim what’s yours, through somatic practice, intuitive movement, and ritual that holds you until you can hold yourself.
A space where it’s finally safe to be you.
I’m a somatic and movement practitioner, a ritualist, a guide for women in deep change and transition, and someone who has walked this path herself, more than once.
Whether you’re going through a major life change, or you’re inwardly desperate to shed what you no longer need and allow your potential to emerge, I’m here to facilitate.
For the past 14 years, I’ve held space for hundreds of women, guiding and supporting their transformation through somatic practice, movement, earth-based wisdom, and soul-led ritual, as they shed old skins and wake up to their true power.
I’ve traversed many dark nights of the soul, watched many old aspects of myself die, and stood face-to-face with the deep fear of the unknown that follows.
I know how vital it is that you have a safe space to emerge — to reclaim what safety feels like as an inside job. Because I’ve lived it too, and I know what it takes.
My most recent significant transition began when my 9-year relationship ended 4 years ago.
While I have known death and rebirth before, this was bigger than I could ever have imagined. My old mechanisms, my old ways of coping didn’t work. I could no longer rely on the old models of spirituality — on most of what I’d known before.
I was scared.
But life gave me this opportunity to more deeply embody the expressions of grief, of letting go, of trust, of really knowing myself…
Because, to move forward, I had to deeply lean into this work that I’m sharing with you now.
I had to live in that in-between a lot longer than I wanted to.
And I didn’t know who I was going to be on the other side.
But this prayer — this practice — held me and continues to hold me.
And I’ll tell you something I don’t share with everyone:
At the end of that process, I wasn’t sexier, richer, or more famous…
But what I got on the other side of this transformation…
…was more of me.
It’s designed to support you… to catalyze the energy that is coming forth… to assist you in shaping it. To uncover your true nature, so you can begin creating a life that answers your deepest call. To give you tools to continue the process long after we part, so you resist the urge to shrink back into the version of your life that is too small for you.
One of my participants described the experience of working with me, “like a plant medicine journey without taking any psychedelics.”
What I bring you, I’ve lived, and continue to live.
Because this is not about landing on a perfect “arrival.” It’s about allowing more of life… more of yourself… to emerge. However that looks.
And the fact I’m living it alongside you is exactly why I’m so passionate about this work.
So that’s a bit about me. But this is not about me.
I’d like to share more with you about this experience and what it will offer you. Because often, there are so many performative words used to describe this kind of work. And instead of guessing or feeling like an outsider, I want you to have a sense of what we’ll do together.
I’ve already prepared the space.
Spoken to the land.
Cleared the energy.
And intentionally created a space.
The moment you walk through the door, you’ll feel it.
Because circles are how women have always gathered. Something in your body remembers this. And something different happens when you realize you are not doing this alone.
I’ll intuit what I feel in the space. What wants to be said for you, for the group of women who are together in this particular moment.
And you’ll be invited to share what brought you here with the group. (There are no wrong answers. All of you is welcome.)
The drum sounds.
I call in the directions — the elemental wisdom.
Sometimes I sing.
And together we being listening to what is truly here.
I’ll invite you to write your intention on a card.
Something you’re shedding. Something you want to be with more deeply.
Maybe it’s a belief about yourself, a relationship, a version of you that’s ready to die.
Maybe it’s something emerging — a dormant energy beginning to stir. Your boldness. Your sensuality. Something you’ve been afraid to meet.
You don’t bring everything in. Just the one thread that matters most right now in the greater whole of your life.
First, I bring you into your body.
What do you hear? What do you feel? What images do you see? What’s present underneath all the noise of your mind?
And then the invitation comes…
We enter into an intuitive movement practice.
This is not a practice where you decide how to move.
This is a practice where you allow yourself to be moved.
The music begins. Your eyes close. Your intention — the question, the grief, the emerging thing — becomes your guide.
Some women move with ecstatic energy.
Some lie on the floor the entire time. Some are taken to memories they haven’t visited in years. Some meet their grief for the first time in a space expansive enough to hold it. Some have visions. Some feel joy so full it startles them.
All of it is welcome. All of it is right.
I move through the space. Guiding. Intuiting. Holding you as you go where your thinking mind has never been able to take you.
You let your subconscious continue to speak…then, you write. A prayer. An evocation. An understanding.
Through color, through line, through whatever has been drawn out of you, whatever you’re being drawn towards.
Then, if you choose, you share.
And something remarkable happens in that sharing — in putting words to what just moved through you, witnessing what moved through the women beside you, and being witnessed in return.
We close the circle, and you go back into your life.
But not the same way you came in.
And not empty-handed.
What you discovered here — the ritual, the movement, the elemental wisdom — that’s yours now. A living practice to return to long after this day ends.
And now you know what it means to embody the expression of what you’re going through.
I see women wake up in this space.
Years of tension and weight of expectation lift from their faces, and a sense of aliveness floods in.
This is where something new becomes possible.
If you’re not familiar with somatics or any of the other practices I use, don’t worry.
Being a “beginner” to any practice is a gift. It means you arrive with no preconceptions.
I welcome that openness, and I’ll guide you gently through.
The “after” with this work is different for everyone. You’ll have your own version, your own desired outcome, your own unique shedding.
So instead of telling you, here it is in the words of women who’ve attended before you:
This is available to you too.

Embodied expression is the practice of allowing what lives within us — emotions, truth, instinct, longing, grief, joy, transitions — to be felt, moved, breathed, and be expressed fully through body, mind, spirit, and energy rather than processed through the conceptual alone. It allows you to embody the expression of what you’re moving through rather than just talking about it. This experience often returns you to a deeper sense of self that is felt and known.
None at all. This space is not about performance or “getting it right.” Whether somatic practice, intuitive movement, or ritual is completely new to you or you’ve explored similar work before, you’ll be gently guided throughout. The invitation is simply to come as you are and allow your body to guide the experience in your own way.
Most women arrive alone. You’ll be welcomed warmly, and many leave with connections that last well beyond the day.
Yes. I know, because I’ve been doing this work in my own life for more than two decades. This practice always meets me exactly where I am. I return to it regularly as a way of connecting to myself. And I lean into it any time I need to deepen my capacity to hold myself through a new transition. If something brought you to this page, part of you is ready to go deeper too. This space is here for exactly that.
The experience will include an opening circle, guided movement, somatic exploration, ritual, music, reflection, and space for integration and sharing.
It’s four hours. Because real transformation isn’t rushed. The time allows you to fully drop in through ritual, movement, and reflection, without feeling pushed to the next thing before you’re ready. Your body needs space to be heard. And many women actually find they want to linger long after we complete, telling me: “Wow, those 4 hours went by in a blink of an eye.”
You don’t need to know. The process will meet you where you are and help you discover what wants to emerge.
That’s completely welcome. Often the places that feel tender, guarded, uncertain, or resistant are part of what’s ready to be met with gentleness and care. You will not be pushed into anything, and everything is by invitation.
Each retreat is held in a different location. Details for the next date, including venue and address, will be listed for the most current days/times for the next workshop. If you have any questions about the location before reserving your spot, feel free to reach out.
Spots are non-refundable. We cap attendance to keep this intimate, so your place is held specifically for you from the moment you book. If something unexpected comes up, reach out. We can look at transferring your spot to a future date or passing it to someone else.
I have had requests over the years from retreat centers, hosts, and studios to bring this workshop into their offerings. It’s something I’m passionate about doing — not least because I’ve been told many times that this workshop is a great addition, bringing a sense of opening and support, both for your community, and for you as a facilitator or wellness host.
